The Good Depression formed in Hamilton, Ontario, in 2016 and have carved out a reputation for their unrelenting blend of metalcore and experimental intensity. Drawing influence from acts like Converge, END, and Knocked Loose, the band crafts music that is as crushing as it is cathartic.
Their upcoming EP, Where Grace Won’t Grow, digs into themes of shame, curses, and self-destruction, each track tied together through cinematic storytelling and dark visuals. With visceral live performances and a DIY spirit, The Good Depression continues to expand the boundaries of heavy music while staying deeply rooted in raw emotion.
